I wandered into town this morning due to my addition to the internet. The Camp internet is sporadic at best, but felt obligated to get some blog posts up. On the way back, I shot some pictures of the drive into camp. Buffalo Trails Scout Ranch is nestled in the Davis Mountains where three valleys meet. It is actually quite beautiful. The scouts have come up close and personal with the mountain wildlife. For some reason they find more in the bathrooms, than out in nature. Of special interest were dodging scorpions in the rustic latrine and wrangling a tarantula out of a tent. Everyone is alive and having fun. This is summer camp.
