It has a been a busy evening and there is still much going on. The first years are about to head up to Kyle Mountain, but I wanted to get some pictures up of the flag lowering.
Scoutmasters get real wound up for Flag Ceremonies when their troop is doing it at summer camp. I am not the exception. One of my Scouter buddies from Troop 43, walked up to me right before it started and said, "They are going to do fine."
They really did. I am very proud of them. The calls went correctly and the flag came down with honor and dignity.
Its a big flag.
