I hung out and watched the CPR class. Swimming, Lifesaving, canoeing, and Rowing merit badges require that a scout understand and can demonstrate CPR. Its not certification, but an exposure to understand the medical need. In essence that is what is scouting, exposure to create a basis of life lessons.
