Boat Docks

Scoutmastering really takes over in the evening. The boys are released from classes and head back to the campsite on a sugar high from the trading post. (I will address the trading post tomorrow) The SPL has to real them on in, get the troop in full uniforms and march them up to dinner. They are getting tired and a tad bit sunburned.
Tonight was the Troop night. The Troop could pick any activity and chose to go to the boat docks. They did this for various reasons, not the least of which is the fact that boat docks manager is an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 5. At times it is almost scary the way 11 year old boys look up to an 18 year old boy. That ASM was a first year camper in 2002 at Worth Ranch. Hopefully the cycle continues.
