I am disappointed that we are not taking any first year
scouts to summer camp this year. We have
a good group of older boys who know the ropes.
Some of these boys even spent the last month working Camp Staff at
Longhorn Council Camps. As a
Scoutmaster, this crew will not take much work, as they know how to run
themselves like a troop. First years
would be in so much better shape after a camp with boys that know how to do
summer camp.
