The first day is about administrative details. Making sure we have the correct paperwork and
that the boys get a medical recheck.
What it really is, is a lesson of hurry up and wait. Rules are continually repeated and you move
from one line to the next.
I am very proud of the boys of the Troop. As other troops occupied their time by
picking on each other, our boys went through the litany of camp songs they
know. Holling was impressed and I think
that encouraged more singing.
The hurry up and wait was punctuated by lighting so the swim
checks have to wait until Monday morning at 6:30 am.
