Camp Dobbins has the horsemanship merit badge. The boys learn the basic of
horsemanship. For those that know me, I
am not a fan of large animals. As a
scoutmaster it is important that I make sure that the boys have all the
opportunities available to them that scouting offers. I am just not a big fan of taking pictures
of horses up close.

Camp Site
This is the way a Scoutmaster likes to see a campsite at
summer camp., o Scouts because they are out enjoying the camp.
Camp
We are up at about 7,000 feet at Camp, which is much
different from the 675 feet in Dalworthington Gardens. The weather has been cooperating at camp and
the consensus this morning is that it feels like October in Texas. Translation, good camping weather.

Lake
It may be a mountain lake, but it still is a waterfront. There are worse places to spend time at camp.
